Description
This connection café will begin at 6:00pm with check-in, networking and refreshments. The film presentation of He Named Me Malala will begin at 6:15pm. He Named Me Malala is a look at the events leading up to the Taliban's attack on Pakistani schoolgirl, Malala Yousafzai, for speaking out on girls' education followed by the aftermath, including her speech to the United Nations. At the end of the film, participants will have the opportunity to take specific action to ensure all children (and especially girls) across the globe have access to education. There will be a facilitated dialogue after the film.
